This is the production logo I created for our group this year the triangle shape is meant to have a sci-fi look to it as our film is science fiction, the text also has a space look to it, something you would associate with sci-fi. this gives the audience little idea at what the film will be like.

I created this effect by first drawing the 3 'tick' shapes on word.
I then arranged them into the triangle shape.
I attempted to colour them silver however the computer filled in the colour outside the lines.
so rather than having it coloured, i changed it to white lined on a black background, seen as i was planning to have the silver on a black background anyway.
Then i put a triangle around it and drew lines to work out where the centre was, i then drew a square around it and put the centre of the shape in the centre of the square for the print screen, the reason i did this is because if i had not centred it properly the shape wouldn't look right as it was spinning onto shot.
finally i removed the unwanted lines and saved the image, i then converted the image into a JPG and imported it into the film. On Final cut express i key framed the shape to spin and move around the screen, the text was also key framed to glow and to appear.
